미국 국가과학훈장은 미국 정부가 과학 및 공학 분야에서 뛰어난 업적을 이룬 인물에게 수여하는 최고 권위의 훈장으로 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 참석자들에게 훈장을 전달했다.이번 행사에서는 ▲젠슨 황 엔비디아 최고경영자(CEO) ▲일론 머스크 테슬라 CEO ▲세르게이 브린 구글 공동창업자 ▲리사 수 AMD CEO 등 4명이 국가과학훈장을 받았다.함께 진행된 국가기술혁신훈장 수여식에서는 ▲마이클 델 델 테크놀로지스 회장 ▲사티아 나델라 마이크로소프트(MS) CEO가 수훈자로 이름을 올렸다.
